The Engagement

Atlas Studios partnered with Equidae Botanicals to provide end-to-end Klaviyo solutions. The engagement began with an in-depth deliverability audit, followed by a comprehensive

  • Deliverability Improvements
    A lack of a branded sending domain, engagement segmentation and list cleanups meant that deliverability was being impacted severely. A deliverability strategy was put in place immedietely.

  • Moving away from a constant discounting tactic with strategic campaign management
    Previously, a constant discounting tactic was in place to drive top-line revenue. Atlas reshaped this strategy to shift focus to meaningful bottom-line margin growth, while maintaining brand value.

  • Additional Flows and Flow Optimisation
    There was a lack of key flows, and existing flows lacked depth & testing. Our strategy, retention and UX teams immediately got to work, rolling out key high-impact flows and flow improvements for easy wins.

The Approach

Our Strategy & Retention Marketing teams worked in unison to provide email campaign strategy & management, flow optimisation, advanced segmentation, deliverability improvements, and continuous A/B testing for Equidae Botanicals.

A tailor-made strategy was rolled out across BFCM, maximising margin whilst improving customer engagement through this notoriously noisy period.

  1. End-to-end Strategic Campaign Management

A robust, rolling email campaign strategy was implemented with key trading activations. Emails were designed, built, QA'd, approved and scheduled in advance.

  1. Ecosystem Unison and Consultancy

Retention was approached across Shopify & Klaviyo to create positive outcomes. Review App migrations took place and integrations were setup with Klaviyo to drive further AoV and LTV improvements.

  1. Flow Optimisation and Continuous A/B Testing

Missing flows were tailor-made for the client and built swiftly. Existing flows were further improved and a continuous A/B testing strategy was put in place to continue to drive incremental improvements for the client.

The Results

Since the beginning of our engagement, our approach has resulted in a 66% increase in YoY Klaviyo revenue, 70% reduction in Spam Complaint Rates and a 71% increase in YoY net sales in Shopify.

2024 BFCM particularly stood out with a 168% increase in YoY Klaviyo revenue and a 64% increase in YoY Net Sales.

    The robust Klaviyo strategy across campaigns, flows and deliverability resulted in a 66% increase in Klaviyo-attributed revenue compared to the YoY period before Atlas.


  • 168% BFCM YoY Revenue Growth
    Our robust BFCM strategy drove a further 168% increase in revenue for the client, completely outpacing any previous month of sales in the company's history.
